KP Management Connected To Water Quality??

Hi everyone.

Is anyone knowledgeable about the correlation (if any) between filtered water and KP management?

I just received a shower filter I ordered last week from a water filter company. I have been trying to make sense of this KP thing for what seems like forever and I've been trying everything. This company claims this shower system filters 90-something % of impurities from the water, especially chlorine, which negatively affects the skin.

I will buy a wrench tomorrow to install it.

I figure filtered water, pumice sponge, eucalyptus spearmint lotion should do the trick.

I am origanally from New Zealand and the city I come from has the clearest most pure water in the world, there is nothing at all added to our water as it comes straight from the mountains, and guess what, I still have kp. But who knows it might help you, good luck!

I also installed a shower filter. 6 months later - no difference.

I still recommend using it though just for general health, plus it makes your hair really soft

Keira mae, I feel like screaming. LOL. I was banking on this helping my skin. I am also from a country where our water sources are from the mountains and springs. Everytime I go back home to visit, after the second or third day, my skin begins to clear up quite a bit and feels much cleaner. well, I'll see what happens with this filter.

MikeMc, yes, all the online reviews I read prior to purchasing the filter claimed the same as you....softer hair, and also softer, cleaner skin. :0)
