Teehee! I love your narrative, Pumicer!!!!! I too am a fan of the pumice, BUT I am not brave enough to use the stone. I use the sponge. I am little concerned by the alcohol. Although it worked for you, I am fearing that the alcohol will dry my skin, which is a no-no to KP.

haha..so funny!

I tried your technique a few yrs ago (minus the alcohol). I'd gotten to the point of "oh what the hell, let's see if I scrub these suckers off." It didn't do much for me other than make my skin hurt like hell and scab over. But I guess the alcohol may have helped in your case. How extreme was the dyness, flaking like it's no one else's business? And do you have any scars going on cause I think I might want to give ur tech a try.

I wouldn't necessarily think it's tougher for a girl to have to deal w/kp than it is for a guy. But I'm a girl and I guess some girls are more aware/paranoid (however you want to point it) about their appearance. Someone had once asked me, "What's that on your arms? Zits??" I just said no and explained it and that was that. But yeah, kp is damn annoying!!

I love your attitude, Pumicer. Man, I wish I could lighten up, but it's so hard living with this nonsense. I am going to try to "shake what I got"....LOL!!!!!

As a guy, I can assure you it is one of the last things I would ever care about with a girl. It really is a non-issue. Shake what ya got.

Peace

when you first tried this, did you have a job or go to school? I ask because it would be hard to reck havok on your skin and then have to go to school the next day.

i tried something similar once. I did a slight graze on my arm with the pumice, but stopped that after one brush. It made my arm bleed.

when i first got a loofah, i always used it dry and scrubbed real hard. it would burn red so bad afterwards.

i do agree that you have to be somewhat harsh to the KP.

Stuff like AmLactin helps because it has acid in it. its no where close to a miracle cream, but it does help keep the flakes away.

i also find that rubbing my hair will break up the plug and make the KP hair fall out. at the root i can see the white KP plug attached.

i find that unfortunately i am a picker. ive done it since i was little and cant seem to stop, and its horrible because i have the most KP ever.

the doctors always told me i would grow out of it.

i have a question, so you pumice your skin, swab alcohol on it, and then sandpaper it? or just pumice and swab alcohol? i read something that has to do with sandpaper but not sure what you mean. great attitude the pumicer! i get less sad everytime i go here coz of awesome people like you
