My new regimen seems promising

Just wanted to post what I have been doing lately that is getting me the best results I have had despite years of trying all kinds of things that didn't work or just worked for a little while. My arms really feel alot healthier and smoother and the KP is not nearly as noticeable as it was. The bumps have gone down considerably, the the redness/brown discoloration has improved some as well.

Please keep in mind a couple of things: 1) I have to keep at this pretty much daily or the bumps start to come back and 2) any of these products/steps alone have not given me the results that the whole regimen has together, so each step is very important and I cannot credit just one product for my success:

1)I apply Philosophy Soul Owner exfoliating foot lotion on my arms about an hour or two before I shower because it really softens the bumps and I really believe makes the shower exfoliating more effective
2) In the shower I exfoliate with Dove Nutrium Body wash and Buf-puf GENTLE facial sponge (I found the Extra-gentle is not enough and the body puf is too harsh) I exfoliate thoroughly, in a circular motion with gentle pressure, and have learned not to scrub too hard because that causes more redness/inlfammation.
3)After the shower and drying off, I generously spray Nature's Cure body acne treatment spray and just barely rub it in
4)While my arms are still barely damp from the spray, I apply MiraCell healing serum to moisurize and to help heal my scars. I figure I don't need any more acids/exfoliants after the first three steps and this stuff is really soothing and nurturing and you don't have to use much of the product. Don't over massage the serum into the skin, it will absorb well with just a very brief massage. (Again, don't want to cause inflammation by over-rubbing)

And I am going to the tanning bed for around 12 minutes once a week. I have found the tanning bed alone doesn't help much, but I feel my spots (especially the scarred colored spots that are so hard to get rid of) are less noticable when I have some color all over my body.

And of course good nutrition and lots of water and green tea are good for the skin.

I hope this helps someone else, and I hope I continue to have good success with this since summer is right around the corner and I would love to wear t-shirts this year.

Can I ask why only 12 minutes a week of tanning?
