Red face Proactive?

I was wondering if Proactive would help kp? Has anyone tried it? I just figured that since it can work on severe acne then it might help kp, right?
Tell me what you think.

It didn't work for me either. It just dried out my skin.

I think that proactive and all these acids that people try to use would only make it worse. Why would you want to dry out you skin if the reason for KP is skin cells accumulated in the hair follicles..wouldn't drying it out make more skin cells flake off and get into the follicles?? exfoliation and moisture are the only things i have found to help

I definitely think Proactive helps acne if used accordingly. Now I have tried the body lotion on my legs for a week and it seemed help clear it up a little, but I haven't tried it long term. I still use proactive for my acne and I think it's great!!!

I started using Proactiv for acne (and I also think it's great!) and I did notice the bumps on my face practically disappeared. I have been afraid to use it on the rest of my body because if it works then I'd have to buy enough of it to use on my whole body

Proactiv does make an exfoliating body scrub and body lotion which I tried. I wasn't impressed. The scrub was nice, but it wasn't any better than others I've tried. If you just have KP in a few spots you might want to try the Proactiv system. It is very drying so you must use an oil free moisturizer afterwards. I found the moisturizer they sell isn't quite enough, and I recently discovered Kiss My Face oil free lotion which is fabulous!

If someone tries the regular Proactiv system on their arms/legs/whatever, I'd love to hear how it works.
