This worked for me! And it's relatively cheap.
I'm 36 years old and have had KP all my life. I know it's hereditary because my Father has it and now my baby has it.
I know now that moisturizing really works. I do have dry skin and don't like to use moisturizers - they feel too greasy to me. Anyway, I'm pregnant again and have been putting belly creams and oils on to avoid stretch marks. Well, I started to put it on my arms every night and guess what the bumps are totally gone. I admit it's hard to get use to moisturizing and oil, but I'm determined not to get stretch mark - so I'm willing to live with the feeling and now I'm so use to it - it doesn't even bother me. The result is amazing - Not even one bump to pick at! I must say I'm surprised. Right now my routine is after showering I spray Palmer's Cocoa Butter "Soothing Oil" for Dry, Itchy Skin - 5.1 oz from Babies R Us. I've only seen this product at BabiesRus for $4.99. And then I'll put a coat of Aveeno Body Lotion on top to "seal" it in. I used Aveeno last pregnancy and didn't get any itchness or stretch marks. So I guess it couldn't hurt with KP. Well gosh my arms are so smooth I will be using it for life! I started using this on my baby too - who had tons of white bumps all over her face, arms and legs and they are mostly gone too. I'm slowly pinching the few that are left, but there aren't really new ones. Can't believe I've found something that actually works for me. I've been scrubbing my arms like crazy and pinching for years. But those crazy white bumps always come back. I've moistured before but maybe it's the product or maybe it's my diligence this time but I swear not one bump. Pretty cool. Yes I still have a bits of dark spots from pinching but they are fading too - due to exfoliating my skin in the shower. I just love having smooth skin. Good luck everyone!
