Question KP on Back

Hi everyone. I was wondering if anyone out there has any suggestions for how to apply treatment to one's back? My Amlactin/Carmol/Neutrogena Skin Smoothing lotion is making slow progress, but progress none the less. I would love to start on my back, but don't want to burden my husband doing it twice a day.
Any thoughts?
Thanks! :-)Alana

I have an applicator that I bought from Wal-mart, for around 4 dollars I think, that is a "foam applicator on a stick", for a lack of a better term. I use it to apply sunless tanner and lotion, it works really well. I would suggest using that.

for a free and immediate way to apply products to your back. Get a kitchen or long hand towel. Wrap saran wrap around the middle portion of the rolled up towel. ( saftety pin the back portion that is not going to rub against your skin) Apply lotion to the plastic and rub your back with it like when you dry off your back. You can reach every part and not waste product on an applicator.

For more detail discription of how to set up this towel mess: Open towel up all the way. Starting at the narrow (width) side of the towel roll to the aother side making a long tight roll. Take about 6" of plastic wrap and place it open in the very middle of the towel roll. Then wrap plastic around the towel tightly and safety pin on one side to hold it firmly. So what you have is an 18-24" rolled towel with plastic in the middle. You will then hold one arm behind your waist holding on to the towel and the other arm over your shoulder holding the other end of the towel.

Sometimes it is hard to describe how to do in written form without pictures. I hope this helps.
