"Scrubbing and exfoliation just make the bumps burn as bright red as the tropical island sun. Only hydration can smooth the skin. Avoidance of soap and scrubs are the key to clearance, along with prescription moisturisers containing lactic acid and urea, gently applied to the wet skin."
Makes me wonder if what ive been doing, has been really preventing my kp from getting better. Should i stop exfoliating in the shower and using acids in my products? Any thoughts guys? |

I had the flu this past week so I barely took care of myself. I did not exfoliate my arms at all and I didn't see a dang bit of improvement.. at least when I exfoliate my skin feels softer and whiter. I barely exfoliated for years and my kp sure didn't get any better. But I think different things work for different people

proper exfoliation and moisturizing is good, just scrubbing as hard as you can (like with a washcloth) is not.
