Demodex (Treatment for KP?!) Breakthrough!

Was reading this book at the library (was bit by a spider) called the handy bug answer book, and it claims that a little mite called demodex can cause hair loss in dogs (demodetic mange) and similar in humans, loss of eyebrows etc.

Sulfur products gets rid of the demodex, AS WELL AS EUCALYPTUS!! which explains why the BBW lotion is so effective!! Other chemicals/solutions etc can kill the mite as well. This also explains why KP "patches" seem to spread and take over our whole body!! without the vitamin A (and d??) the mites are free to roam all over our bodies.. I wonder if UV rays kill the mites.. also P. acnes (bacterium responsible for acne) lives INSIDE demodex..

Umm follow the links

According to the first link,
" Are Demodex Mites contagious?
: Yes, demodex mites are very contagious. They are acquired through physical contact with infected persons; for example through kissing, hugging, using the same towels etc. However, not everyone who is infected has problems with them. It is a fact that the majority of infected people, show no signs of any disease, from the infected people, only around 10% are getting skin problems. This may be due to a healthier immune system and/or because of numerous other reasons which are not so well known for the moment.
: Infected people with no visible signs can also transmit the mites to other people.
: Once infected, it can take months or even years before the signs of infection become visible."

I'm going to wait a few weeks/months for the lotion and msm soap to take effect, then finish it off with these demodex products.. Someone else should try these and give us some imput!

Highly doubt, there related. I've done some research on the net. And if they were to relate to one another than that gives ALL of us with KP absolutely no chance of defeating it. So you all should hope, that they are two different skin problems.

"These organisms are live parasites so applying such remedies as Vitamin E cream or aloe vera will have no effect on them."

Yeah it does sound doubtful...the site makes it sound so contagous and that everyone has them..but if that were true then wouldn't everyone's whole body be covered in KP by the time they reach a certain age???

Well like I said like 98% of people have the mite.. but in some people we either have too weak of an immune system or we're in hyperdrive. I don't see why we would have no chance of defeating it.. just keep the mites under control and take your vitamins it would be a hella lot easier than spending another 10 years wondering if there's a cure I'll take the mites (and eradicate them) over another 10-20 years wondering when is this kp going to go away what really causes kp etc etc..

BTW bgonekp the mites CAN be killed there are special soaps and such it's kind of like getting rid of lice (can be smelly) but whatever lol

Here's the thing, these things AREN'T the cause of kp, however after researching this a little bit it seems as though most people have these things on there body. Even though they aren't the cause of the bumps, they could certainly be the reason for the red dots being so hard to treat because they could be keeping the inflammation in the hair follicle, even though they have nothing to do with the bumps. People who don't have skin conditions wouldn't suffer from the things and wouldn't notice them, however these mites could make skin problems worse for people who have a skin condition, like keeping the kp follicles inflammed. Anyway I ordered the cream and ointment just cause i have nothing to loose and there are people who said that it has helped with the red dots.

Brian I wouldn't be too quick to assume this isn't our miracle cure There's still little known about it and they're still researching to see if demodex/rosacea/hyperkeratosis are all related.. Kind of makes sence, make more keratin and wall up the pores, at least it keeps them out.. that's what a cell is going to assume lol. There's still no rock solid evidence that this really is the cause of kp (or otherwise) but all that means is that "these statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. this product is not intended to treat, diagnose, or cure any disease". bullshibble if you ask me

Yeah definately let us know how it works!! and be vigilant, I have heard that you get a breakout between months 1 and 2 because the demodex mites are being killed or something.. But i think it works faster than that

Soooo after it's cured..how often would the process need to be done again?? I mean if 98% of people have it then we are bound to get it again and again..

There is a cream on the site to keep it under control once they have been killed. I think this is the closest we are going to get to a new treatment which might work.

I have been reading testimonials and this stuff seems to work.

I have ordered some the other day when I read and posted about it. I will keep you updated.
