So I'm new and which particular kind do i have?

I have had red eyebrows all my life. My dad and brother have them too but their eyebrows have thickened out over the years. I'm a girl and 20 and have red bumpy skin on my eyebrows that isn't itchy but gets redder if rubbed or I get warm. I also have the same kind of skin along my jaw line but again is only noticeable when I’m warm or have been drinking too much red wine! I have red bumps on the back of my arms but because I know so many people with a similar problem I’ve never found it odd. I exfoliate all the time and always moisturise as I suffer from eczema mostly in the winter months which seems to help greatly and keeps them at bay.

The eyebrows however are my biggest problem, the hair is very sparse and the skin red but I wear a makeup and pencil them in which helps. I never realised that they were noticeable until when I was a little younger and kids at school asked my why I didn’t have any eyebrows but I didn’t realise it could be a condition and always meant to ask the doctor about it but eventually googled 'red eyebrows' and this forum came up. I have dark hair and tan quite easily, similar to my dad although my brother is fair skinned with ginger hair. My skin was never really that sensitive before but I moved from home and started university and started getting eczema.

I suppose I’m just wondering what exactly I’ve got and how to go about doing something about it. It doesn’t affect me greatly but I have great skin otherwise and can’t stand wearing makeup everyday just to make my brows look slightly normal. I have found a lot of explanations very confusing and for some reason I am worried that my doctor will know nothing about his. Can anyone offer some advice?
