Hydrocortisone is a steroid. Depending on the concentration it can only be used a few times a day for about 2 weeks safely. Overuse can cause a sort of "skin addiction" or dependency without the frequent application of the hydrocortisone the affected areas of the skin can show adverse affects without it (i.e. a rash, red marks, inflamed skin). danni I don't know the ingredients in sinphaderm-hc, but if it does contain hydrocortisone be sure to ask him if it is safe for long-term use.
