How critical is it to moisturize right after the shower. Especially the warm showers I take. I get lazy, or I'm in a rush and just do it hours later or skip sometimes. Maybe when I don't moisturize I get new bumps??

If I use a sea salt scrub with oil in it do I still need to moisturize after the shower???

Even if the scrub has an oil in it, you should moisterize after the shower. While your skin is still damp. I and others I know have the best results with that.

The pores close within 3 minutes of getting out of the shower, so its best to moisturize within that time frame if you want the best results.

I try to moisturize right after I get out of the shower. I will put lotion on my arms and within seconds my skin will soak it up and I can put on more lotion. If i put lotion on dry arms then the lotion just sits there

I agree moisturize right after shower.

I've noticed I don't get as red and the skin is much softer when I moisturize right after I shower.

what moisturizers do you guys use and does skin feel greasy afterwards?

well, I'm still trying out different kinds to see if I notice any differences, but recently I've been using l'occitane shea butter and sephora body souffle, they soak in real well right after showering. I still need to find a good moisturizer that will help a little more with the bumps, maybe one with lactic acid or urea or anything else of the sort. suggestions are welcome

Jergens Has A Really Good Smoothing Lotion It Has Exfoliating Beads And Is Formulated With Fruit Acids.

After a take a shower or bath I apply body oil when my skin is still wet. It absorbs pretty quickly and leaves skin soft.

I use Palmer's Moisturizing Body OIl with VIt E. You can find it at Walgreens, CVS PHarmacy, Wal Mart...or online.
