Exclamation This is actually working!

Hi guys,
I just wanted to let you know that I think I've finally found something that actually works. I went to the dermatologist last week and she recommended the Glytone Keratosis Pilaris kit--it's a body wash and a moisturizer. I've only been using it for a few days and she said it would take a couple of months to take effect, but I can already tell that it's working! The bumps are disappearing and my skin feels smoother and softer than it has in years--apparently the lotion has some crazy amount of moisturizer in it. This is the first product that I really think might do what it claims to do, and I've tried many. Anyway, I don't know if it'd be the same for everybody, but if you're interested here's a link:

I just thought I'd give everybody a heads up!
Cheers,
Emily

I'm glad to hear someone's tried this product and it has promise. I've seen it on some "derma" sites, but was afraid to try it out. I too have tried many products with limited success. Is that all you're using right now?

Yeah, it's all I'm using at the moment. Like I said, I'm sure it's not the same for everyone--but it is definitely working for me.

What worked for me

My KP is over 95% gone, and it's b/c I started using the eucalyptus spearmint body lotion sold by bath and body works. I'm almost 100% sure it's due to the eucalyptus ingredient. Menthol doesn't seem to do it.

Sencha, glad to hear you found something that works for you. Too bad I don't like the smell of eucalyptus. Is it a strong smell or a faint one?

The eucalyptus is tempered by the spearmint. You may want to go into the store and at least give it a sniff. Bath and Body Works always has testers sitting out, and this fragrance is a good seller.

I don't know that I would choose to buy this fragrance myself if given the choice, but I do like the smell. I also like how it has eliminated my KP so effectively.

A girlfriend bought me some as a gift, and I used it and then noticed the bumps going away. I discovered it by a total fluke of fate.
