100% tea tree oil

I have been using 100% tea tree oil on my keratosis pilaris for the past 3 weeks now, and it has had some amazing effects. I started applying only 3 drops of the tea tree oil twice daily to my skin after a shower and am now up to 6 drops twice daily. It dries out the bumps and smooths out my skin, my arms are very soft to touch at the moment you can barely feel the bumps. I think the key here is not to use a diluted tea tree oil or a tea tree lotion, because the tea tree oil is the key constituent that is helping the bumps. It is also a natural source and will not damage your skin.

Yes i have tried many other products, all different sorts of salycylic acid lotions/sulphur soap etc etc. None of which did nothing for my kp, i have wasted a lot of money on products in the past and will never go back to using such harsh chemicals on my skin, now knowing the damage that it can do to your body since starting studying naturopathy.

I can't really say the exact day that i started seeing results because i wasn't really paying attention, but i do know it has been around 3 weeks to a month that i have been applying the tea tree oil religiously to my KP and now when i touch my arms they are so smooth i cant feel the bumps. However, there is still some redness and scarring that is left so i am going to start applying another natural product; Pau d' Arco extract which is a herb and has anti inflammatory actions in it, which will hopefully reduce the inflammation therefore reducing the redness.

Tea tree oil can be used on the face i use them on pimples and they are gone in approximately 3 days, its great stuff. However, i dont have keratosis pilaris on my face, but im sure it should help do the same thing. If you are scared it is too harsh for your face dilute the tea tree oil a little bit and apply with a cotton bud.

I have been using 100% tea tree oil too. I only use it once a day--in the evenings due to its strong smell.

Not to sound like a broken record (I know I say this alot), but you can get it at Walmart in the vitamin section. Cheaper than I found online.

I love tea tree oil. I use it on the kp on my arms, and I use it on my face too (to clear up pimples), and I use it to heal and moisturize small s****es as well.

Love the stuff. If you're worried about the strength (sometimes using any essential oil 100% pure can irritate the skin), dilute it with jojoba oil. You can also use grapeseed oil.

I bought the Johnson’s baby oil gel Chamomile & Multi-Vitamin Complex for $1.94 at Walmart. How much cheaper are we talking?

I know you were talking about the tea tree oil, but I saw the equate post in another thread.
