do i suffer from it now?

hi there im natasha and new to this,
i have been to the doctor 100 times about something on my stomach when i was 14 someone mentioned the little bit of hair that i know everyone has on there stomach underneath their belly button, but i got paranoid and started shaving it was fine for years until i started on the pill and it went hay wire it came up in bumps i got p[lenty of ingrown hairs and the discolouration. the doc gave me some kind of acid for and some kind of eczema cream which i thought not right because i didnt have eczema. i really wanted the discolouration to go.

having the ingorwn hairs made it worse so yeas i was picking at it to get the hairs out im 19 now and have been struggling for years now i dont know what to do i went to have a colonic done and they found the candida but i take yeast tablets for that most of the time.
i really should have one done every 6 months to makesure but anyway the point is it really bugs me now i avoid the sun and cant wear bikinis i have a real complex about it now it looks terrible. i hate being naked because my boyfriend sees it what can i do?

can anyone help? thanks xx ps. its not been gentetici know that much

Angry what it looks like

hi there,
well its often bumpy and irratable not itchy i have got alot of hyperpigmentation in the area unlike when i had acne on my face aftera couple of yrs the pigmentation went away naturally but this hasnt changed for years. it looks bumpy and is bumpy to the touch and like i mentioned before the pigmentation is around the follicles. i thought it could be because i dont really scar easily and with such deep pigmentation becasue in the same area it got scratched and infected within 3 months it had cleared up as if nothing was there so thats wheni stared wondering why in the otherareas it would not lighten up and get smoother.

Natasha x

I would recommend doing some microdermabrasion on it, and using some kind of sal. acid treatment. Make this a regular regimen, and the acne bumps should go away and the scarring should begin to fade. I cant really picture or know what it is that you have, but to me it sounds like that may help. You may have already tried this, but if not its worth a shot.

Do you continue to shave? if you do, you should leave it alone and it may just grow out of the layers that are preventing it from the surface. If it doesn't work, you could just buy some lotion that tackles razor bumps - which is what it sounds like.

Here is an smidgen of what is available out there: product: http://www.salonlines.co.uk/forwomen...roduct_id=1048

I thought that being on a contraceptive pill would thin the hair on the body. Maybe you could switch to another pill?
