I have seen several posts by people using St. Ives apricot scrub. I just wanted to alert you that Walmart's Equate brand has a generic form of the product. They also have one for the apricot scrub containing 2% salicylic acid (I use this one--it costs $1.67 USD for one tube that lasts me acouple of weeks. I use it all over).

Others use baby oil. Equate also has generic baby oil. My fav is the baby oil gel. Waaaaaaay less mess than traditional baby oil. There are also baby oil products with lavendar in them. Lavendar is supposed to soothe skin redness.

I'm using a St Ives Apricot Exfoliating body wash. No luck with it yet. Helps clear up bacne though.
