I just wanted to comment on something I discovered. I have had this condition since high school, I am now turning 40. I have never been able to wear sleeveless shirts, or go swimming without being embarrassed. A couple years ago we decided to get an above ground pool...and what a nice surprise, after a few weeks my arms and legs were completely clear! For the first time I was able to go about in a tank top without feeling like everyone was looking at my arms. I still don't know the exact "cure"...we use very little chlorine in it (mainly just a weekly shocking) and instead use a non-chlorine system called Pristine Blue. It is copper based. I know this is what has made the difference...because as soon as swimming season is over the KP comes back. I just wanted to share this with those on this list as a possible way to get refief, if only in the summer (but that is when we want to show more skin, anyway!)
