This sounds really promising, I'm goin tomorrow to try to find theese products!! I know we have L'oreal exfotonic in Finland but i'm not sure about the Clinique Anti-blemish.. Hope I'll find it. Thank you Jiquile!!!
The dermatologist I went to some years ago said to me as well that he's never seen a KP case this bad, and it felt so terrible.. Since then I haven't gone again.. I think I was about 15 at that time.. I was too ashamed to ask for help for my condition again. So now I'm so happy I found this site, cos I really didn't think there was so many others with exactly as severe KP as I!!! I don't have it on the face, but I do have it everywhere else... Now I feel much better when I've read that there IS some things I can do to help this condition!! Now I hope I'll find the Clinique product here too!!

Please be aware that you can never be FREE of KP, you can control it, but it is a skin disorder that does not go away and it cannot, as of now, be cured. It also gets less as you get older, usually gone by your 30's....(note I say usually)

It's awesome though that you've gotten it under control!!! Way to go!!!!

Ask the parent who had KP when it started to disappear naturally. That should more or less give you a gauge of when to expect it to "disappear".

I'm just gone 30 and my KP is just as bad as ever I've had it since I was very small and think I might have it for life

Anyway - decided to start on the above method and see what happens. Got the goods yesterday and I see a few people here have been having problems finding the Cinique spray. I'm in the UK and had problems getting it too - but basically ended up getting stuff called 'Clinique Anti-Blemish Back and Chest Spray'. Was told by the Clinique lady that the Back and Chest spray is exactly the same thing as the Body spray but they just like to mess about with the names. Hope this might help people having trouble finding it.

I found the Anti-Blemish body spray, thou I had to get it ordered to my town from a bigger town.. so I should be getting it untill next week. But it's fairly expensive, it costs 33€ here!! As a student I don't really have money, but I want to give it a try..

Has anyone had any results on this treatment yet??

Thats terribly expensive KA - I got mine for Ł13 in a large department store which is under 20 euros. Where abouts in the world are you? Sounds like you're being ripped off

I'm from Finland. It's really expensive to buy it from the department store here, but there's no other option. The small shops sell them even more expensively.
I called my dad who's on business trip in London, he said he will try to find it tax free at the air port.. since he's already on his way to the airport. It would be heaps cheaper if he would find it!

Hi everyone, I am new to this site.

I just finally got an appointment with the demo and was diagnosed with Keratosis Pilaris. He told me to use this cream called RETRIEVE but its quite expensive. Has anyone heard of it? Well this new method by jiquile seems to really work so i might give it a go. But i dont think anyone here has the problem as bad as mine. my whole upper arms is covered in Keratosis Pilaris, you cant even see normal skin now! Anyways i was wondering if it was ok to show u people some pics so you can tell me if it is Keratosis Pilaris for sure and if its really that bad as im saying. Thanks vbmenu_register("postmenu_12588", true);

Cannot Find Loreal Product

Has anybody in the US had any success in finding the Loreal product. Can't find it anywhere even when doing searches via the internet.

Any suggestions for a product that compares?

Got the products yesterday

We are brand new to this site.

We got a similar L'oreal product at Walmart (in the cosmetics area) called "Visibly Clean" Foaming Cream Scrub Cleanser, and the Clinique product at Belk, yesterday. The Clinique product cost us $18.50 (USA). My fourteen year old daughter started using them, along with a Johnson and Johnson "Hydrating" Softwash Body Wash product last night.

We will keep you posted on results.

I wouldnt use these products like johnson johnson they have fragrance and my derm mentioned exfoliant buffs will just irritate the skin and the things that have the beads in it can just clog it. Other exfoliants make my skin red and yuck and also irritate it. havent tried the clinique product... clinique is prohibitively expensive though... but their dramatically different moisturiser i remember is ****e, but their weather everything or spf daywear product that replaces that is ... really asthetically nice.

Well, we wanted to get the exact products that Jiquile spoke about, but maybe they are not the same. I have noticed redness on my daughter's arms. I will ask her what she thinks.

Yeah, I was told that too to begin with. However, I don't believe it is the KP that is the cause of the irritated skin - I'm pretty sure it is due to having sensitive skin. J&Johnson's here has a pH 5.5 which is low in acidity - therefore, it shouldn't irritate. You could use Cetaphil instead, I guess, but it doesn't get all "sudsy" like J&J.

It is expensive, but you can do what I do and only use the Clinique spray during the summer months when you are more likely to expose your arms/legs.

I think Garnier has a sugar scrub...? I'm sure it would work the same. The L'Oreal Exfotonic (in my opinion) is not the crucial ingredient - it is the Clinique spray. HOWEVER, the sugar scrub softens up the skin so that the spray can work to its best. So don't worry if you can't find the L'Oreal Exfotonic. Find a sugar scrub that has the beads in it and use that.
