Nair
Has anyone tried nair? I just read this advertisement for Nair for men and it said it exfoliates. Just a thought.

But isn't it a hair removal product??

Nair is a hair removal product but I had the same thought about Nair a long time ago. While it did do a slight amount of exfoliation it did very little to the bumps and as soon as the hair started to grow back the bumps got worse.

Didn't help
Nair didn't help me either. Neither did shaving or waxing - just as was said, the bumps were really bad when the hair started growing back.

I used Nair on my forearms for hair removal purposes. My KP was never that obvious on my forearms. When the hair grew back it made the bumps much worse. I would stay away from that stuff. Nicky

Has anyone tried the Veet Bladeless Razor Kit? I guess the results would be the same as Nair?

interesting results
Hi,
Refering to my recent thread on laser clinic response I see two things here: 1. We know KP is very easy to aggrevate, so this could have been a case of that. or 2. It supports a hypothesis that KP may occur when the hair grows. If 2 is the case it can also be hypothesised that laser hair reduction could help ( be careful to get the correct laser type administered correctly). |
