Hey everyone.. I'm new to this site. I was doing a search online and was so excited when I came across this website. I've had KP since I was a baby. My mother told me when she took me to the doctor, he advised her I would out grow KP by 21. Well I am now 25 and I have KP on my upper arms. Like many, I hate wearing tank tops and never show my arms. Recently I was in a wedding and hated the fact that the dresses were sleeveless. While searching online I found that some people with KP have used 2% BHA lotion. This is the only product that has actually worked for me. I have been using it for about 3 weeks, and finally I am seeing results. Every product I tried never worked, whether it was over the counter or from a dermatologist. I use it at night before I go to bed and in the morning directly after I take a shower. I use Dove Nutrium soap and that has helped with the roughness, also for the roughness, I use a lotion that has vitamin A and that helps. the BHA lotion can be found at www.paulaschoice.com It is 13.95 for only 4 ounces but it has really helped. Hope this helps others!!! : )

How moisturizing is it? I'm wondering if I bought it, would I need to mix other moisturizer into it...

I use a Vitamin e just as an extra moisturizer , but it does moisturize. It gets rid of the unsighltly bumps more than it does moistrurize.

I've noticed a significant change in the color. The redness fades, but you have to apply atleast twice a day. It absorbs quickly, it doesnt feel sticky. The redness is what I noticed faded first, then the bumps.

My daughters both have been using Paula's Choice BHA 1% and 2%. lotion. The 1% comes in a lotion, the 2% comes in a lotion and a solution. Here's the page:
http://www.cosmeticscop.com/shop/cat...E=2&PAGETYPE=S I just posted recently re: kP on my 11 yr olds face("Everyone in the house has KP except the dog"). I have to say that it is almost completely gone. The secret for us was to stop using the gentle buff puff completely! We switched to plain white washcloths. The buff puff was making her KP worse, she was probably irritating the condition. Anyway, we have gone from cheeks completely covered in KP, to just a few left down by her jaw.Her routine is: Wash gently with a washcloth with cetaphil AM, apply LacHydrin, and Paula's Choice completely non greasy moisturizing lotion. ( I really should have her start to use some sunscreen instead because of the extra exfoliating with the BHA....) Evening: wash with cetaphil using washcloth, apply Paula's choice 1% BHA then apply moisturizer. I am so pleased with the results. We are going to try to wean off the LacHydrin and switch to Skin Bios exfol serum in the AM and PC BHA in the evening. A friend of mine says Skin Bios exfol serum is gentler than PC BHA...
