Maybe you were stressed over your weight gain, etc... and that caused your KP. There seems to be several people with different theories into the cause of KP. It's possible that there is more than just the hereditary factor. It looks that way from all the posts...WHO KNOWS, all I know is that I've never been obese and I have KP really bad. FYI
