Hi Mark - you are not alone. Their are a lot of us out there who have walked the path you are walking now and now what it is like. Be encourage though that there are new treatments being developed all the time. The following site mentions two medical journal articles that have found postivie results in treating KP on the face (also known as Keratosis Pilaris Atrophicans faciei). The first is by a Professor W Cunliffe from Leeds and talks about successly treating a patient with oral Roaccutane (must be prescribed by a derm). The other article looks at the results achieved by pulse dye laser treatment. From memory it even shows pictures of the improvements on the site - if not let me know and I will do some more searching as I have seen them somewhere! With me the Roaccuatne was not successful but the pulse dye laser treatment definately reduced the redness. Find yourself a good dermatologist and show him these medicall journal articles and take it from there. Let me know if you need any more information Marks.
