I am 27 and have tried EVERYTHING, been to a million doctors..all over the country..all to no avail..so i would save your money!! Looking back the best advice to give is a few things..make sure that he doesnt pick! Picking spreads KP. Also, use soap for sensitive skin ONLY...all the others (Dial, etc.) will dry his skin and make it worse. Vanicream soap is the best..i dont know if you can find it..i found it at this old timey drug store..it moisturizes, but doesnt clog pores. Drinking milk also seems to make my KP worse..i dont know if that is the same for others, though. I also found that taking a benadril every night helps...because KP is related to allergies. Also, dont bathe in hot water! But, basically move on..forget about it..and i bet it will to.
