I have KP on my back worse than anywhere on my body and it is very dry (even flaky sometimes). I have noticed that sun improves it but I'm not sure it is due to the drying effect of the sun but some other property the sun imparts, not sure what. I've also tried the benign neglect thing. Didn't work for me at all. I'm 40 and have had this FOREVER, though it improves and worsens for reasons that are unknown to me. Sometimes it will get better for awhile and I will think that the improvement was caused by something I was doing. Only to have that same 'something' not work later on when the KP flares up again.
