The drier the better, anyone else?

I've had this condition for 25 years and the only time it gets better is when my skin is really dried out (ie. camping in the desert or when I suntan). Is there anyone else out there whose KP resonds better to a drier situation and who has had success with any drying products? Let me know what you used. Also, anyone know of the brand names of some lighteners & brighteners (preferably ones found in Canada)?
