Does anyone out there know if there is a link between bad scarring (after surgery or accident for example) which is the result of the body producing too much keratin, hence the keloids, and the hyperkeratinization of KP? Do you have good or bad scarring in areas not affected by KP? Also those ladies with KP that have had children, have you noticed a lack of stretch marks during your pregnancy(ies)? I understand that if your body produces a lot of keratin, your skin is more elastic and you don't get any stretch marks. This is certainly true for me, what about you? It would be interesting to highlight any possible correlation.
