Do I have Keratosis? Does Your Keratosis Hurt or Itch?

A dermatologist told me that I have Keratosis. After looking at this site and reading many messages, it sounds like those of you who are writing have a much worse problem than I do. I did not go to the doctor because it was bothering me - I was sent by a rheumatoligist. My case seems to be very mild, if this is really what it is. The derma dr. wanted to prescribe something for it, but it doesn't bother me, it doesn't hurt, it doesn't look that bad. Plus, I have had this for ten years and it started when I was 38! I have always assumed it was a rash linked to lupus. There is a long story here, but I will spare you folks. Does this stuff really bother you or itch or hurt?
