Hi Debra!1. Quite frankly I’m flattered by your comment. I am not a physician but a certified esthetician for the state of FL and Puerto Rico who happens to have keratosis pilaris?!! I’m also a consultant for the skin care industry with projects in N & S America and the UK. Currently, I form part of a group working side by side with the University of PR developing what will be (we hope!) the first native R&D Dermatologic Specialty Pharmaceutical Co. in Puerto Rico (yes, hyperkeratotic disorders/kp will be one of our main efforts). This project will take a few years but we are hanging in there. As far as my postings, I’ll try to contribute more often with some input. The problem is that I’m almost always on the road with super slow hotel dial-up connections and browsing all messages is kind of difficult. I’ve made some info available which Melissa should post in the near future but it’s in spanish. If there’s someone bilingual (english/spanish) in this board and is willing to help translate this text please let me know.
