I go back to see a dermatologist every 5 years or so. Just to see what developments/progess has been made in the area. I mean, after all, so much progress has been made with acne and anti-aging treatments, right? And I am always depressed to learn they are recommending the same stuff they've been giving me so many, many years. Lac Hyrin being the most-often prescribed. It used to work better for me before than it does now, for some unknown reason. Plus, my case is now so widespread, all over my torso really, plus thighs and upper arms, that it is quite a chore to spread topical treatments on twice a day. Not to mention the cost. (I have wondered about diet changes, maybe fatty-acid supplements like Flax Oil, or giving up dairy, etc... but I haven't experimented diligently enough to prove anything...) I am discouraged about it. But this group is a good thing. One of the most encouraging things I've seen on this topic in years. Thanks for starting it.
