Why does KP occur only in certain areas??
I was curious about why KP occurs more in certain areas, ie why it is worse on the thighs than the lower legs? With my kp it is mainly on thighs and is virtually non-existant on my shins and calves......
And why does it often occur on back of the arms rather than all over the arms? I know this isn't always the case but I was wondering if anyone could share any information regarding this?.... Thanks ![]() |

Re: Why does KP occur only in certain areas??
I have often pondered the same question. I have ulerythema oprhyogenes which is a KP varaint affecting the eyebrows.
For some reason it only affects the hair on the outer third of the eyebrows for those who are affected. Like you said KP tends to affect the upper arms and upper legs. KPRF affects the outer part of the cheek more than the inner. What do these upper and outer parts have in common???? |

kp can affect any part of the body except palms and soles of feet, but mainly affects the common areas, face, butt, legs, arms etc.
