as if having KP isnt bad enough, I just received the worst haircut! I wanted a chic bob and got a Peter Pan hairdo! I tried to save money w/ a new salon BIG MISTAKE.

Please tell me if there is something I can do to increase my hair growth. I feel so depressed. Im home all day looking at my chicken skin...now I have this to scrutinize over. I know it is just hair, but it really is affecting me...just needed to talk to someone...Nicky

Hi Nicky- Just wanted to let you know I feel your pain. I know to some it sounds trivial but t's amazing how a bad haircut can really get to you. For us girls hair really is a serious thing & when we feel it looks bad it really does affect how we feel about ourselves. About a year ago my hair was
med. to long & I decided to cut it pretty short & afterwards I so regretted that decision. I absolutely hated it & actually let it kinda depress me for a little while. Fortunately hair does grow back & eventually I was ok because I just tried to do different things w/ it as it grew out. So maybe try some little hair clips or something to change it a little bit or maybe pick up a hair style magazine & get some styling ideas. You know we always are our own worst critic so it's probably not as bad as you think.

I feel your pain too. I think we've all been there with a terrible cut at one time or another. Thankfully, it will grow back. You may want to try some of those prenatal vitamins, which I believe are otc now and not just be prescription. I always had the most shiniest hair and it grew very quickly when I took those vitamins. Word of warning though, the iron in the vitamin may make your stomach a bit upset, and cough, constipated. Your hair and nails will grow quicker and look lovely though, believe me

Hair clips, maybe a touch of new color or highlights, fooling around with some styling gel, etc, may cheer you up a bit in the meantime in perking up this style you don't care for.
Did you say anything to the stylist or the manager of the salon? I hope so. Best wishes

I don't know what your personal athestics are, but you could always have it trimmed down a bit further and spike it up. I myself love the punk look =)

How short is it now?My Aunt had short hair(short mean NO length at all)about have an inch long from her scalp. but it was geting long to her (up top like i said she has no length )so she trimmed & it was a bit un even & now it is really short BUT it looks good!Maybe you could try that!There a a bunch of very cute short styles to do.Maybe (if you have the money) You can go get some of this damage repaired at a more reliable place?But be really careful & dont just let them go off & cut cut cut do a little at a time. Im only 16 but i have had many bad hair cuts.Dont even mention the wrod perm to me.hehehehe

It will be ok.It may not even be as bad as you think.Most of the time you are your biggest critic.
