I know I am really late on this topic. But I am Jessica. I will be 23 in a month. I am married to a wonderful soldier who I am so proud of. We are stationed at Ft. Drum, NY. We have a 2 1/2 year old boy named Brogan and we have a 2 month old little girl named Caitlyn. I however do not have cats, we have a dog. I did have a great job/career before we moved to NY. The job market is horrible here so right now I am a stay at home mom. I am originally from Louisville, KY. My husband is originally from Seattle, WA. I will share some pictures. I love to share pictures.

I'm a cat and dog person!! I'm new to this site and was very glad to find it. I only found out last week what this "skin condition" as I always called it was actually called. I'm 35 years old and have had KP since about age 5 according to my mom. I thought it was supposed to get better with age?! I'm still waiting. Anyway, I have three cats and a boxer puppy that just turned one year old last week. They are my best buds!! I'm looking forward to having a place to chat with others who understand the frustration of KP and the picking, etc. Best wishes for clear skin to all!! |

Hey Andrea, since you make custom soaps and lotions, you should try to make something for treating KP!!

Hello, I am 25 (female) and finally found out my "weird arms" condition has a name. I have had KP since I was little but never knew what it was. Yesterday I went to a dermatologist and found out I am not the only one in the world who has it, and then finding this website and forum was great.
I have enjoyed some good laughs on this thread about the cats (Satan... and Stank!? hahahaha). I don't have any cats and am not especially inclined to them, but it's great to hear all your stories. I have always been embarrased about my upper arms because they are rough to the touch and therefore un-feminine to me--I have always been jealous of women with skin as smooth as a baby's butt! hahaha! But now I know I'm not the only one, and there is a name for the condition, and I feel a lot better. I live in San Francisco with my boyfriend, kind of in that quarter-life crisis thing, trying to figure out what I'm doing with my life! I am an Office Manager at a non-profit org. and really enjoy what I do, for now at least! Have a great day everyone! |

I have a tuxedo cat named demonica. She's crazy. She'll get in moods where she likes to run around like a loonie, tearing through the house howling and knocking things over. Every once in a while she get spooked while I'm playing with her and she'll stand tall, back arched fur puffed out like she just got struck with lightning and she'll hop sideways toward me almost looking like her rear ends stearing her movement instead of her front end all the while still trying to maintain a look of serious intimidation. It's fantastically funny to see, I wish I could get a video of her doing it. When she's not feeling real crazy she likes to play fetch with a tiny bead chain, watch the tiolet flush, chirp at birds or eat salad shrimp, but not before smackin' em around a bit first just to show um who's boss.

Demonica?
If I named my cats for their personalities, I wouldn't be able to tell them apart. Oh Demonic, Wicked, Cruel, Diablo Kitties! ![]() |
